Order Processing Time

Orders for food trailers are typically processed within 5-10 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) from the date of purchase. Please note that certain trailers may have longer processing times due to customization or availability, which will be clearly stated on the product page.

Shipping Methods and Destinations

Platypus Food Trailers currently ships within Australia and New Zealand. We offer standard and expedited shipping options, displayed during the checkout process.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are included in the total purchase price of your trailer. No additional shipping fees will apply. No matter where you are, we will ensure your trailer is built and shipped to your delivery address.

Delivery Time

Once your order has been processed and the build is complete, the shipping and delivery process will take approximately 21 days. Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors such as distance, customs processing, or unforeseen circumstances. While we aim for timely delivery, Platypus Food Trailers is not responsible for any delays caused by the shipping carrier.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information. You can use the provided tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment via the carrier’s website.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is deemed undeliverable due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred for reshipment. If the package is returned to us and you choose not to have it reshipped, a refund will be issued for the purchase price, minus the original shipping charges.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Platypus Food Trailers is not responsible for lost or damaged trailers during transit. However, we will assist in resolving issues with the shipping carrier to the best of our ability. If your trailer is lost or damaged, please contact us promptly to initiate a claim with the carrier.

Customs and Duties (New Zealand Orders)

For orders shipped to New Zealand, customs fees, import duties, taxes, or other charges may apply upon delivery. The customer is solely responsible for any customs-related fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.
